SNF Will Demand Answers About Hanging Deaths In The US
Seven Black Americans have been hung in the US since January, with no convictions.
SNF is preparing a national accountability campaign concerning the disturbing reports of these Black Americans found hanging in communities across the United States this year.
We will demand transparency from local and state authorities, including investigation reports, medical examiner findings where publicly available, investigative procedures, evidence-preservation policies, and explanations of how official conclusions were reached.
SNF will not prejudge the results of any investigation. Our position is simple: families and communities deserve complete, credible, and transparent investigations.
We will also begin developing SNF chapters in communities connected to these cases so that our national email campaigns are reinforced by organized local action.
